On May 5th 2010 my grandmother was transported to her nursing home from the hospital and all she could talk about when she called me later that evening was how nice and caring the employees from your company were, she said it was just like being transported by family and she felt that she was in good hands, and the one person she has known for a while. The employees were Benny West and Christine Hughes, and Im so glad that they were able to make her feel comfortable, it means alot to me that you have people like this working for you, that put the patient first. April 26, 2010, Arthur and Thom transported my husband from Chesapeake General Hospital to Oakwood Rehab Facility. They were very professional and provided great service, they made my husband transport stress free because he wasn't feeling too good about the tranfer from hospital to rehab. My aunt had a transport Tuesday morning from First Med, she said that the employees were on time and acted in professional manner that even the place she was residing in that morning did not, she said the employees helped feed her before leaving and making sure she had gotten her pain medication before transporting her, she cannot recall the name of the young lady that drove but she remembers the other lady, she remembered asking what her name was and looked at her ID tag most of the time, her name was Christine Hughes. My aunt said that this young lady had a warm smile and personality and did everything she could do and think of to make my aunts ride as comfortable as could be, due to a back surgery her rides are usually very painful but this young lady helped her and the driver did her best to avoid bumpy areas on the road, and I would just like to say Thank You So Much First Med, and a large THANK YOU to the young ladies that picked her up that morning! - Family Member of a Patient

On Monday, 07/27 my son's girlfriend was in an auto accident and had to be rushed to the emergency room. The City paramedics had not arrived, but First Med EMT, Dermitrius Warner and Driver, Rudy Hux happened to see the accident from the other side of the highway and exited the highway to come to her aid. They were the first on the scene and were able to access her condition and transport her to the hospital. I just want to thank the First Med team for the expeditious and courteous service provided on that day because my son's girlfriend was extremely upset. - Terri Nelson

I would like to take the opportunity to comment on the service that two of your employees, Travis Williams and Kenneth West, demonstrated while at our institution. They brought a patient to us for imaging on 11/3/09. Their care was exemplary. They were very kind, respectful and more than willing to go the extra mile to provide the best service.
